To accommodate all needs, our kraft soup bowls as well as our kraft soup cups come with appropriate lids that serve different purposes as well. There are paper lids that heat shrinkable smooth and eco–friendly or there are PP and PET lids which are tough and suitable for use after being disposed of , high quality paper soup cups. These lids are designed to be in such a way that there is no leakage and every little bit of food stays hot when being transported, hence, ideal for take away or delivery services.
The base material is paperboard, but the final disposal claim depends on the lining and local waste system. PE-coated cups are practical for standard foodservice use and may depend on local recycling capability. PLA-coated or water-based coated options are better choices when buyers need compostable or plastic-reduction packaging claims.
Paper lids are recommended when the buyer wants a consistent paper-based packaging look and stronger natural branding. PP lids are recommended when hot soup delivery, tighter fit, stacking strength, and practical handling are the priority. PET lids are more suitable when food visibility is needed for cold or room-temperature applications.
1:Paperboard Selection: Choose the thickness, weight, and coating properties based on the order. 2:Coating: Paperboard is coated with a thin layer of plastic (PE or PLA) (for waterproofing and holding liquids). 3:Printing: Flexographic printing under the desired design. 4:Cutting: Sheet cutting into flat sheets then die-cut into specific shapes used for the body of the cups.
